How we price work
We quote per job, not per hourly rate guess. Here is what that means in practice and what you get before any money is committed.

Why we do not quote working prices over the phone
A price given without seeing the property is a guess dressed up as a quotation. Two houses on the same street can need completely different work depending on the age of the system, the wall construction, the access and what a previous owner did to it. Guessing low to win the call, then revising upwards on site, is how customers end up distrusting trades.
So the sequence is: a conversation to understand the job, a survey where it is needed, then a written quotation. If the job genuinely is straightforward — a standard service, a straightforward repair — we will tell you the cost there and then. The point is not to withhold information; it is to give you a number we can actually stand behind.
